Van woensdag 6 tot vrijdag 8 september 2017 organiseert Security Network van CERL een summerschool rond veiligheid. Deze eerste editie gaat door in de Koninklijke Bibliotheek, Nationale bibliotheek van Nederland en richt zicht voornamelijk tot bibliotheekmedewerkers uit Nederland en Vlaanderen.
Volgende onderwerpen staan centraal: "we aim to share knowledge on topics like collection security, reading the behaviour of your readers, legal aspects, national and international collaboration, what to do after a theft, embedding security in the wider organisation, and digital security".
